I would like to introduce you to a new member of our family. Her name is Squiggles and she is a Pembroke welsh corgi. If you have been stopping by for a while, you will remember that we have 2 corgis, Sophie (a tri colored) and Scruggs (a red and white). Puppy love - isn't there a song about it? For us, it is evident whenever our corgi, Sophie, has puppies. They are so cute and lovable! With the litter born Aug. 4th, there are 3 tricolored males and 1 red female. They are now 21 days old and I will be putting an ad in the paper in the next week or two. Puppies, beans, corn and peas ... We have had an exciting couple of days around here! The most exciting news first, our corgi, Sophie had her puppies - 3 tri colored boys and 1 red female. With Buttercup having freshened ( when a cow gives birth and her milk comes in) she is now giving 8 gallons of milk per day. In addition to drinking it, making ice cream and butter, I have been making cheese daily. This is a good thing, as we had almost depleted our supply.
