Flopsy's 1st Corgipoo Litter
Flopsy's 1st corgipoo litter of 5 puppies arrived on April 28, 2021! Flopsy is one of our tri colored corgis and is very playful. The puppies will be ready for their new homes on June 9th. Check out Corgipoos – Corgi Poodle Mix for more info and links to past litters.
Five corgipoo puppies were born, two girls and three boys! They all came out looking like Flopsy and are tri colored!
Corgipoo Puppies
Flopsy is a very sweet corgi and has turned out to be a very attentive mother. Her corgipoo puppies have grown so quickly and are beautifully fat!
I don't know about you, but there is just something so adorable about a fat puppy and especially a fat corgipoo puppy with their short little legs.
Our vet described them as "low riders" because their bellies often drag the ground. While this is nothing but adorable, it can tend to cause a rash on their little tummies. But don't worry, it resolves as they grow.

While I try to send weekly pictures to the corgipoo's family, sometimes life does happen and I miss a week. This litter I think I made it every week!
I thought you might enjoy seeing just how the corgipoos grow from week to week.
Once a corgipoo litter is born, a few days after birth, I begin sending pictures to the first person on my list. Once they select a puppy, I remove those pictures and send the remaining ones to the next on my list.
Healthy Puppies
Finally, after their 6 week vet check which includes a physical exam, the first set of puppy shots and a dewormer, they are ready for their new homes.
Our corgis have been very consistent in having the puppies weaned by 6 weeks. Once the puppies begin getting their teeth, as you can imagine, it becomes uncomfortable and even painful as the puppies bite the mother.
Of course, they don't mean to bite but it happens and the mother's get tired of it and begin the weaning process. By 6 weeks, they are weaned and are eating food.
I use Purina Puppy Chow for the puppies and give a small bag of it, along with the vet record to their new families.
