Fresh Milk is Coming – Meet Our New Calf!

Beatrice finally calved and I would like to introduce you to Decks, our new calf! We have been anticipating his arrival for awhile and can’t wait to have fresh milk again – ice cream suppers, here we come!

The Metal Roof is Almost Finished!

With only a couple of pieces of metal left to put on the roof, the progress is astounding. The landscape around the vineyard has certainly changed! Being indecisive really bugs me but with the family’s help, the decision was made and the roof is red!

Front Porch Concrete

With the footers and support walls finished, it is time to pour the concrete for the front porch. This is truly a family affair with John and the boys working well into the night to finish the concrete. That is what you get for being do-it-yourselfers.

Adorable Newborn Calf – Odd Cattle Rustlers

The anticipation is over – Margie had her calf. That is the good news. The birth went easily and mom and baby were healthy. Unfortunately, there is some bad news. Like a good old fashioned John Wayne movie complete with cattle rustlers there is a happy end to the story.
