You Have What?

I love seeing people’s reaction when they find out that I have 10 children. Reactions range from total disbelief  to “wonderful”.

The most frequently asked question is, “Are they all yours?”. My husband has a wonderful time with this question. His favorite answer is, “Yes, the first 3 are from my first marriage. The last 3 are from her first marriage. And the middle 4 are ours!”  Well, you see the wheels turning in their heads as they filter the reply.
The conclusion is that for sure, this is a “yours, mine, and ours”  family.

Just for the record, I have birthed them all, with the same husband, and we still love each other!

One person even asked, “Are you Catholic?” I responded without thinking, “No, just fertile Protestants!”
